> MI-ORTO
wants to turn a part of Piazza XXV Aprile into a shared vegetable garden open to citizens, to passersby, building a mobile pace, self-manageable, where to invite the fragile sections of the population (children and the elderly in particular) to know the horticulture of proximity - 0 km, healthy and safe; where to create workshops for everyone dedicated to the construction of pocket gardens - balcony gardens, where to listen-touch-see the value of bio-diversity through laboratories, conferences, readings dedicated to horticulture out of soil in Milan and in the world. At the end of the MI - ORTO event, each association-group participating in the project will be able to pick up their mobile gardens bringing them back to their respective Milanese locations to perpetuate the message of a shared agriculture where resources are not wasted or dispersed, as nature teaches . Also in Piazza XXV Aprile will remain, as a permanent sign of this event dedicated to urban agriculture, the four flower beds cultivated with aromatic herbs and present on the sides of the door.
