>LITTLE BROTHER HAITI
Little brother Haiti is a project financed by the Bank and Foundation Mediolanum, which, together with the MM Arnold Moscow Mondadori studio and Francesca Rava Foundation initiated in 2007 a humanitarian project aimed to help the street children of Port au Prince, in Haiti. During the first year, the documentary work of Fabio Ilacqua, Silvia Orazi and Robert Pelitti, focused itself on the slums of Cite Soleil and Warf Geremie, closely keeping track of the construction of four new road schools and the starting of a self-financing activity of the same, through a delivery service of the potable water using a tanker truck. The result of this documentary was a TV series of 45 episodes, broadcasted on Sky 803 (Mediolanum channel), from 2007 to 2008, which has deepened the problems of the local situation and elaborated the stages of the project. This documentary is dealing, among other things, with the origin of the criminality which was generated by drug trafficking, the difficult relationship with the blue helmets of Minustah Ngo, and with the dramatic conflict of father Rick’s activity together with his medical team in the NPH paediatric hospital and in the “street clinics”, clinics which are a kind of “field hospitals” where often people are operating in a climate of constant emergency without being supplied with the necessary drugs and without having proper equipment. From the 45 episodes, produced by OJ & I, it was created a 90 minutes full-length film. In the following years, the director Fabio Ilacqua has constantly followed the field-work of the Rava foundation , documenting the Haitian situation, including the hurricane that struck the country in the summer of 2009 and the earthquake that destroyed the capital port au prince in January 2010.

During the post-production and filming phases, have contributed to the project editors:
- Valentina Cicogna, James Agnetti, David Bazzali, Silvia Rossi, Gaetano Berni;
- Cameraman: Fabio Floris, Francis Petruccelli, Mirko Saydo Mimi,
- Interpreters and translators: Rosaline Paul, Barabara Medor, Gilbert Tranquillus.
